Abenezer Wosen

BSC Graduate
I grew up in this kechene area. I joined the organization around 2002. This organization has been supported for up to eight years. This means for eight consecutive years since the organization was founded. We also receive a lot of support from this charity. This support is a monthly and annual support. Our monthly support includes flour, oil, sanitary detergent, and school supplies like, notebooks, bags, uniforms and shoes.

I am amazed when I think of the difference between being in this charity and being before it. Before we joined this charity, my family and I were in high poverty condition. But after we joined this charity, we received support every month and every year, and the support we received every month was enough to keep us alive and it really gives us to see hope. We could not afford to buy shoes and uniforms for school, but with the help of this charity, we were able to go to school without worry and any stress. Not only that, but we received financial support every month. We were given 175 birr a month in hand, and 50 birr was deposited in our bank account. This fifty-birr deposit will save until we turn eighteen, and when we turn eighteen we will be able to establish ourselves by this support.

Unfortunately, I did not get a tenth grade, so they paid for college for three years and I am graduated. The support I received from this organization ceased and I left the organization after I finished school and graduation. I am currently working on some of the projects that this charity has given me money which was saved in my name. Alongside the work, I am also learning another class. Finally, thank you so much for every support which has been done by this charity.

Diploma in Accounting
I came from kechene area. The main reason I joined this charity was that my family could not afford to pay me a monthly school fee. Joining of this charity has helped my family, and it has changed our lives. I joined this charity in 2019 and have been supported for three years. I graduated in 2021 by the help of the charity. I received school fees, textbooks, pens, shoes, and bags. I also received chicken, onions, eggs and five liters of oil for the feast three times a year.

This charity led me to graduate with a diploma in accounting. I have the same job I graduated from; and I am very happy about that. It was Rachel, the manager of the organization, who supported and encouraged me to join this organization and study, and I want to thank her very much. On behalf of myself and my family, I would also like to thank you for all the support that this organization has given us.

10+3
I was born and raised in the kechene area. I graduated with a 10 + 3 program in furniture works. I have been with this charity since its inception in 2002. I have been supported by this charity for ten years. During these ten years, I received a lot of support. I was supported by notebooks, pens, shoes and bags. We were also given chicken, onions, eggs and five liters of oil for the feast three times a year. In addition, we received 175 birr a month, and 50 birr was deposited in a bank account. I was also issued a driver’s license.

I did not have a tenth grade result at the time, so I graduated with a 10+3 in technical and vocational education. I am currently looking for a job in my field of study. And I am also learning music. My mother was so hard to teach me that I had to drop out of school. But after I came to this charity, I was able to continue my education. The monthly supply of food also helped us tremendously. That was a big deal for us. It is a priceless gift. I find it very difficult to put into words what this charity has done for us. It has helped me to reach my next step after the Creator (God). All I can say is thank you very much. Also thank you so much to my family.

I didn’t get a tenth grade result to pass to the next level, because of this I did not receive any food aid, instead I was paid a monthly college fee and graduated with a diploma in accounting. After graduating, I volunteered for six months in this charity organization and after that I become official worker of this organization and worked for three years.
